- Permanent makeup lasts between 1.5 – 3 years. Exposure to sun / UV / Sunbeds and exfoliation will result in this time being shortened.
- Pigmentation colour will be darker in the first few days after the treatment, however the pigment will fade 40-60% after the first treatment
- To ensure the healing process is effective, the following should be avoided in the first 4 weeks after the treatment
1.sun and/or sunbeds exposure
2.saunas, swimming or/and excessive soaking of the treated skin.
- Lips after procedure may appear very flaky for up to one week following the procedure
- The skin may be irritated, redness and swelling can occur after the treatment which its a normal reaction. The irritation usually calms down and goes away within hours but it can also take up to few days
- Healing can take up to 10 days and it is perfectly normal for small scabbing/crust to appear on the treated area(s). These should be allowed to fall off naturally over a period of a few days. DO NOT TOUCH, remove, scratch or rub the crust. It will fall off in a few days.
- If you apply makeup during the first 5 days following your treatment, you do so entirely at your own risk. You are advised to protect the treated area until fully healed.
- You are advised to stop thy gym, excessive excising for about 7-10days due to sweating and possible infection.
- Drinking alcohol night before and after the treatment is prohibited.
- Using soap or any substances that can irritate the skin should be avoided for 7-10 days
- Should infection occur, seek immediate medical attention.
- For the first time clients re touch procedures will be required to achieve the desired result.
- A healing period of four weeks is required before a re touch procedure can be performed.
- On rare occasions the pigment may migrate under the skin.
- There may be immediate or delayed allergic reaction to pigments. However, allergic reactions are extremely rare. A negative allergy test (PATCH TEST) result will not guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction.
- Infections can occur if aftercare instructions are not followed correctly.
- Contact lenses should be removed prior to the eyeliner procedure.
- Camouflage procedures are experimental in nature and require skin color matching tests before the procedure commences.
- There are few effective methods for pigment removal.
- If you have an MRI scan within 3 months of your permanent cosmetics procedure we recommend that you discuss this with your doctor.
- Possible scarring, inconsistency of color and loss of eyelashes may occur
